CUSTOMER SERVICE/ COUNTER HELP

 We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our team as Counter Help.  You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—greeting guests, taking and filling orders, handling payments, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming store environment while providing support and help for operations throughout the store.

Shifts are available throughout the day, ranging from 4 hours to 8 hours in length.

Whether available one day a week or five, we may have a place for you.  

• $15 - $18/hr depending on experience
• Tips add another $5 - $10/hr

• Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail 
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset 
• Reliable, punctual, and professional 
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Take and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service 
• Operate the cash register and handle cash/credit card transactions 
• Restock display cases and coolers with fresh donuts, baked goods, and drinks
• Keep the counter, front area, and dining space clean and organized 
• Answer customer questions about products and promotions 
• Assist with shift transitions as needed 
• Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth, enjoyable customer experience
• Complete side work in support of the kitchene a reservation at Donut Shack today and experience the best cuisine in town. We offer online reservations and accept walk-ins as well.
